Planning 1- Brainstorm- Sketch
Planning 1- Sketch 1
I was thinking of how it will look when the Aztec and the feather of the Indian mix with the pieces. |
Planning 2- Sketch 2
I was thinking of how it will look if their was a person dancing like like the Indian and Aztec. |
Planning 3- Sketch 3
I was thinking on how that feather would look if the wind move it like a black hold and it come out with more and more feather. |

History, Culture & Religion InspirationIn the piece “Headdress MIX Culture” my inspiration was the Aztec headdress mix Indian and Mexico. But only on the headdress which were the Priegan horn headdress Buffalo Headdress (Horned War bonnets) and the Brazilian Headdress of the Mexican, Central and South American Headdresses. (2 The tail feather are attached in such a way as to move freely and swivel somewhat independently of the dancer’s movements.) Both of these tribes wanted to show their Heritage and type of culture to they are in and it was easier to describe what tribe they were back them. Each of the tribes Headdress has a meaning behind them just like the Aztecs. The Priegan horn headdress is traditional regalia of certain Plains Indian warriors and the Mexican, Central and South American Headdresses is headdresses looked very different from the Plains Indian warbonnets. Then the Buffalo Trace wanted to show for their art and what places are they in their tribes that define them as Warrior, goddess or the emperor. Today in this time in 2016 people USA use the headdress piece just for design and make it look beautiful when they perform outside when they do the native dances of their culture. (3 The Aztecs / Mexica’s were the Native American people who dominated northern Mexico at the time of the Spanish conquest led by Hernan CORTES in the early 16th century. They were one in the originated from a place called Atlas, somewhere in the north or the northwest Mexico. At that time the Aztecs were a small, nomadic, Nahunta-speaking aggregation of tribal peoples living on the margins of civilized Mesoamerica. Sometime in the 12th century they embarked on a period of wandering and in the 13th century settled in the central basin of México.) I show they are together in the tribe. Then the Indian were just one on the USA I chose this culture was because they were hear in the USA first and it well-known in the state of the Indian.

ReflectionDry Print was a very difficult task to understand but a bit too easy for my skills because Dry print was almost the same skill that I use for Block Print. When my instructor shows me how to cave and what to use on the Dry print, I started right away on the Dry print because in the Dry print need to do line and cross hatching. Then put the design on it because it was see throw the print it was easy to transfer in on. But I got some help from the instructor he told me how to use a oil base ink for the Dry print because of people use the oil base ink on their Dry print it will look bad on the print when use the right ink. When I design my sketch I was planning to do culture about the Aztec and Indian and Mexico look because I believe how the earth was in the Aztec way and Indian and Mexico well people think I was Indian when they first show me. But it was still too hard for me to do because when I see an inspiration, I lose interest in the end. I liked my Sketch 1, Sketch 2, and Sketch 3, I don’t know what to do then I was thinking and thinking what should I do for my Dry Print I knew that for a fact that I wanted carve out a type of headdress with feather but how will look. I wanted to kind look the something as my Block print that I look up the oldest headdress pieces that were about 500 year out and it was the Montezuma II. Then I choosing what show unique to the sketch design l will show the most to it this is Sketch 1. Finding the right design of the feather to go with and how it will show and what it will look in the end with the black on it. I want it to have a look that is giving out feather to the art pieces. When I got my design and everything time to carve time! But in the end of the work come out great with the ink and the movement and the balance for the feather with the ink. It gave life to the work, but after when I thought the Dry Print was completed and ready to be post on the weebly, I got a close look at the Sketch 1 and I ending up not liking it. How it looks, how the mask pop out and the feather turn out I was happy. So I end it come out so cool that I keep it how it was without changing nothing in the end. Well maybe I’ll change it if I don’t like it.

Act
1.) When I compare my piece with my artistic inspiration, there was visual connection between each piece. As explained in my culture inspiration section, I talked about how I use some of their style 3 different culture that techniques and using panther. The effect the feather on the headdress show how beautiful the piece is.
2) Aztec, Indian and Mexico goal, to show the colorful feather and look on the headdress to stay out.
3) One of the conclusions I can make about Aztec, Indian and Mexico. Of the headdress to show what they are and whom is the main thing to their culture and show color and feeling to it.
4) The central idea was to create a piece of art inspired by the tone and mood and objects created by the different factors that composed the Aztec, Indian and Mexico uses for their headdress.
5) One of the inferences I can make is something that show who they are and what culture I am and believe in and making a system to the piece.
